JOAN ABELLÓ 1922 - 2008
On Christmas, a day before its anniversary, died of heart failure the painting master from Mollet JOAN ABELLÓ.
It comforts us to know that it was a brief moment and at the same time we thank the fact of having known him and of to have enjoyed his works and of his friendship.
All the ones that had the opportunity to meet him, know that he was a simple and humble man, lover of the good conversation and of all the arts.
Two of his high hopes in life were: the Museum Abelló, which he carried out and that soon he will celebrate its ten years, and the fact that his work would make him immortal. We are sure that thus will be, one only has to check the importance hi had in national and international press that has prayer of its death has done itself; Mexico, England, France, Colombia, and more next, Madrid, Córdova, Malaga, Santander, Zaragoza,.... Only we are not we that cry this loss. Everyone of the art is of mourning.
