 
Joan Abelló is currently one of the most international artists in our country.
With a very personal way to treat figurative themes, he has walked a long path which means his presence in many museums around the world.
He's been paid tribute many times and in different places. Joan Abelló is Creu de Sant Jordi by the Generalitat de Catalunya and recently he had an antologic exposition organised in Madrid titled "Abelló en Madrid" with representative pieces from his early years to nowadays.
Tireless traveler, he has wandered a great number of countires and that shows in his themes.
